Structured Global Programming for Communication Behaviour
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper presents two different paradigms of description of communication behaviour, one focussing on global message flows and another on endpoint behaviours, as formal calculi based on session types. The global calculus originates from Choreography Description Language, a web service description language developed by W3C WS-CDL working group. The end-point calculus is a typed π-calculus. The global calculus describes an interaction scenario from a vantage viewpoint; the endpoint calculus precisely identifies a local behaviour of each participant. After introducing the static and dynamic semantics of these two calculi, we explore a theory of endpoint projection which defines three principles for well-structured global description. The theory then defines a translation under the three principles which is sound and complete in the sense that all and only behaviours specified in the global description are realised as communications among end-point processes. Throughout the theory, underlying type structures play a fundamental role.

Waveform Design using Second Order Cone Programming in Radar Systems
Transmit waveform design is one of the most important problems in active sensing and communication systems. This problem, due to the complexity and non-convexity, has been always the main topic of many papers for the decades. However, still an optimal solution which guarantees a global minimum for this multi-variable optimization problem is not found. In this paper, we propose an attracting met...
متن کاملKickstarting Choreographic Programming
We present an overview of some recent efforts aimed at the development of Choreographic Programming, a programming paradigm for the production of concurrent software that is guaranteed to be correct by construction from global descriptions of communication behaviour.
متن کاملProcess Algebra for Agent Communication: A General Semantic Approach
In this paper, we consider the process algebra ACPL, which models the basics of agent communication. This algebra combines the informationprocessing aspects of Concurrent Constraint Programming (CCP) with a generalisation of the synchronous handshaking communication mechanism of Communicating Sequential Processes (CSP). The operational semantics of ACPL is given in terms of a transition system ...
متن کاملSufficient global optimality conditions for general mixed integer nonlinear programming problems
In this paper, some KKT type sufficient global optimality conditions for general mixed integer nonlinear programming problems with equality and inequality constraints (MINPP) are established. We achieve this by employing a Lagrange function for MINPP. In addition, verifiable sufficient global optimality conditions for general mixed integer quadratic programming problems are der...
متن کاملA DSS-Based Dynamic Programming for Finding Optimal Markets Using Neural Networks and Pricing
One of the substantial challenges in marketing efforts is determining optimal markets, specifically in market segmentation. The problem is more controversial in electronic commerce and electronic marketing. Consumer behaviour is influenced by different factors and thus varies in different time periods. These dynamic impacts lead to the uncertain behaviour of consumers and therefore harden the t...
